Stem and Root Pinot Noir 2020

We wanted a beautiful silver lining to emerge from 2020, so we dedicated this wine- the sum total of our 2020 Pinot Noir- to raising awareness and funds for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. Our roots are in STEM. Et Fille, which means “and daughter”, was co-founded by a software engineer dad and biotechnology daughter who shared a passion for winemaking. We believe that STEM education has the power to create a better community for all of our children.

This is a robust and layered Pinot Noir, with an aroma of plum, blackberry, white floral, and thyme. The palate of boysenberry and mint has a bold texture. I am proud that this wine embodies the strength and resilience of the vintage. This is a wine that is fresh and ready to drink now- not one to cellar or age.
